J-Obsession @ Cathay!

No WAY!! I didn't blog about Chinese New Year in the end! Sorry guys :( Too caught up with projects recently!!

Anyway, just to make an announcement that DECOPIC has died on me and I can't seem to filter my photos anymore ;A; I'M SO SAD. Gonna wait for till they fix the problem..till then, enjoy unfiltered pictures guys HAHAHAHAHA /shot

So so, I went to J-Obsession Day 2 yesterday! :) Didn't have costume ready of course, so I went shopping for some stuff since I decided to do Visual Kei style instead :3

Went out to buy a pair of falsies from Daiso and CANMAKE gel eyeliner from Watsons.

Just a quick review, CANMAKE gel eyeliner is a really good option to choose if you are looking for a gel eyeliner that stays on for a long time. I had mine on from 11am all the way to 11pm. LOL! :D Especially good for those who like full lid visual kei eyemake like me. A must have!!

In total I took about...1 hour. then almost nearing another hour for falsies :( but that wasn't my fault! Dx my lower falsies suddenly played hide-and-seek with me...I was frantically searching my whole table for it till I found it under my book =A= How did it get there!?

It was super hilarious because today was Flag Day, and I could tell the students were all obviously avoiding me. They would walk past me to the person further away from them to ask for donations...hahahaha! Am I that scary looking? Even the cashier at MacDonalds when I went with my friend to eat there seemed like she didn't want me to stay at Macs Dx

I must confess though that my whole intention of going to J-Obsession in the first place wasn't the event itself. I just wanted to chill with my friends..which yep, I got to do so :D Got to see Murasaki, Regina, Deepa, Amanda, Yosuke, Reiko, Nanami ... and not to mention...

Yumo was my school friend in Secondary School by the way. Heehee. My bestie. :3 ♥ Finally saw her again after over a month.. I miss her so much! ;u; I miss SCGS so much!!!!

Bet you guys didn't know I am a strawberry freak. HAHAHA. Well now you know. :P

After Yumo and Regina left Amanda, Murasaki and I went up to Ben & Jerry's to eat ice cream...I had Very Berry Sorbet! Because they didn't have Lemon & Lime Sorbet :( I was such a sad kid.

We shared a few videos while chilling there...I showed them funny videos of LM.C :3 You should go watch too if you like LM.C! Maya is too adorable annoying Aiji XD And Aiji is too awesome forever not responding to Maya :P

Murasaki and I also planned a bit of our Japan trip in August~ Say, do you think we should go to SEGA Joypolis in Tokyo? :3 We're thinking about it...my darling readers, leave a comment in the dropbox if you think we should go? :D Check out the place in the link below!!

All in all, I didn't really spend a lot of time at the event itself. But it was really fun catching up with all my friends since I haven't seen them with school started... It's nice to see them once in awhile, because no one in school can actually fangirl over the same things as me except Riyuu. :( Was feeling so happy talking to all of them till the point that I didn't want to go home so...I'm kind of having post-event blues right now. D:

Today was an awesome day for me! Really really loved my image today, can't wait to get photos from this photographer who helped me organize a "mini shoot" at Cathay. Got to hang out with friends too and laugh over ridiculously idiotic things, and hoping to hang out with them even more...I really miss them that much when they're not with me x(

As for Visual Kei makeup, I'm gonna put it at a rest for now..maybe I'll do it again during March holidays! If I'm feeling happy, haha. Well, before that, got lots of presentations to chiong! See you guys ♥♥

Archived Dreams: 4/2/2013 ~ 10/2/2013

MONDAY

Had a project meeting at school in the morning before rushing off to meet my mum at Plaza Singapura. She brought me shopping at JRunway, my number 1 favourite place in Singapore to get Japanese clothes. ♥♥ Better than running through the whole of Bugis Street or Far East Plaza finding stuff. They were having Chinese New Year sales which were MAD CRAZY. One of my favourite street style brand, WE-GO was on 50% discount. What made it better? Top favourite brands at JRunway, Algonquins and Putumayo were on 70% discount!! 

So I managed to snag these 2 by a HUGE discount of $200+ off. WE-GOXAMOYAMO Macaron Shirt and ALGONQUINS 2-way Shorts for only $114.20. Original price was $328!? Awesome deal.

TUESDAY

Had school.. Basic Event Management class is as boring as usual :( But it doesn't matter, heheh. After school my erzi Riyuu and I went to celebrate a super super superrrr belated birthday dinner for our best friend (who is also my twinnie), Setsuka. She was a little late, so Riyuu and I went over to Pet Safari to look at dogs and we started squealing over this adorable puppy which had an ahoge.

During the dinner Riyuu and Setsuka were really sleepy, so Setsu told the lemon she had for her chips "You are going to wake me up" and then I re-created a version of "You Raise Me Up" into "You Wake Me Up" HAHAHAHA. We were laughing so hard in Hot Tomato, I wonder if anyone found us crazy xP

WEDNESDAY

School blues!! I went back to visit my secondary school, SCGS. It's been... quite a while since I last stepped into the school. Got to talk to 2 of my ex-teachers, Mrs Chua (my Geography teacher) and Mrs Gan (my Amath teacher). Also got surprise attacked by 2 juniors along the way. :D 

Afterwards I went to collect my new tanktop..from Glavil by tutuHA! It's ridiculously beautiful. ♥ 

I still kind of can't believe I snagged this for only $26! Considering it's from tutuHA and it's not even an imitation. Met my parents later on at Orchard and I managed to buy ARENA37C February issue. SuG is on the cover, and it's the last magazine they're being featured on before they resume from hiatus... I really really wanted to get the Takeru trading card but...

...Just seems like my affinity with Masato is much higher than anyone else's. LOL. Oh well! I love him too ♥ Look at his gorgeous face!!

THURSDAY

I was in school... THE WHOLE DAY!! Haha. Actually wore Koakuma Rock style to school that day! It was splendid. My friends were really captivated by my gloves for some reason. Are they that...funky? Heheh. Also wore my favourite orange-brown wig to complete the look. Curled it the night before too! Totally worth killing my finger with immense heat and letting it swell a bit the next day.

And because I'm egoistical, let me drop a few pictures here~ Oh, and I actually have an "Outfit of the Day" shot for this. LOL

FRIDAY

Went on a field trip with my classmates from HMS! We went to Goodman Arts Centre. It's pretty cool there, but I have to admit that the location makes the place kind of unknown. The Goodman Arts Centre used to be the old campus for Laselle, so the guide was telling us about this statue that was sculpted to represent the founder of Laselle. He said he looked like he was asking for money. HAHAHAHA /shot And there's a cool squid statue that apparently lights up at night if you high-five it! Definitely going back to try that one day :) 

Also I had reunion dinner that night! This year it's my family's turn to host the dinner, so we had it at the function room of my cousin's condominium :)

I don't really have much to tell you besides the fact that we watched Ah Boys to Men Part 1. My brother had a cameo scene in the movie you know? :P He was going for BMT when they filmed the scene where the enlistees were walking to the ferry!

SATURDAY

Happy Chinese New Year Eve! Today I went out with my family for our own reunion dinner. It was kind of sad that my father ended work late and didn't join us in the end. But anyways, we had our dinner at Al Forno, an authentic Italian restaurant in East Coast. I remember that it used to have a dress code in the past but... I guess they decided to take it off?

Heheh, some food that we had for dinner! When I was having dessert, my brother tricked me into believing that the lemon "shell" was supposed to be eaten with the lemon gelato. Yea, I actually ate a bite. All my brothers were laughing at me. They're so meannnn. D< So I scraped out some lemon zest and forced my brother to eat it! He spat it out because it was so bitter. HAHA! AN EYE FOR AN EYE!

SUNDAY

GONG HEI FATT CHOI! Happy Chinese New Year! I was out visiting the whole day today so I'm really tired at the moment. Went over to my aunt's and grandaunts' places to bai nian :) As usual, I'm too lazy to do the exchanging of oranges nowadays.............

Also, I have NOTHING to wear this new year! I think I've been buying too many eccentric looking clothes that I don't know what to wear amongst my conservative aunt and grandaunts. So I recycled old clothes which I never wore around my relatives before. Well, you might see me wear this coordinate quite often because I love it so much :3

Went over to my aunt's place at night. Spent the whole night playing with my nieces and nephews...they have just too much energy! I'm starting to feel old already! But well, my nieces and nephews are adorable, so I don't mind taking care of them. Heheh. I also posted a status on my cousin's phone that said "Hi I am gay" and her friends actually replied. It was hilarious HAHAHAHAHA /shot I'msomean

CNY Eve: Dinner with family ♥

So I guess I'm here today to haunt all you guys :) Hello dear readers~ ♥♥

Went out with my family today for dinner at Al Forno. In case you don't know Al Forno, it's one of the few authentic Italian restaurants in Singapore!!

I have quite a history with this restaurant ovo In the meaning that I've been here quite a few times...long time ago, there used to be a dress code for Al Forno. I think the first time I went was back in Primary School! I was forced to wear a dress because you had to wear formal if you wanted to eat there. How horrible was that for a ultra tomboy like me back then. :(

Anyways, here's a sneak peek of a few stuff we had for the night :3 

DON'T THE PIZZAS LOOK GORGEOUS? Here's a fun fact about Al Forno. The pizzas are traditionally baked in a brick pizza oven :D Yes, I mean this kind.

Prosciutto & Mozzarella di Bufala

Ham and Buffalo Cheese

The ham was...kinda salty? But isn't ham always salty!? XD haha. The buffalo cheese was good! It looks like ice cream doesn't it? Hehe. The taste wasn't too overpowering, which was good for me cause I can't take cheese that is too strong :( Don't like it.

Parmigiana (V)

Oven baked layers of eggplant with mozzarella, parmesan cheese, basil and tomato sauce

Gosh. I have to put it this way...I don't usually enjoy eggplant but when I do I LOVE IT.. It's AWESOME!! A must try if you ever go to Al Forno for dinner :) Sorry if I arrange my food in a super unappetizing way 8'D imeani'mgonnaeatitanyway...:(

Saute di Vongole

Clams tossed with garlic, white wine, parsley and olive oil

Not too fantastic if I say so myself. The clams had a really fishy taste. :\ But I still love seafood anyway, so I ate lots of it :) The dressing is awesome though! ...White wine heheh. No wonder I'm still awake x)

Pizza Al Forno

I didn't eat this. Hehehe. :x But according to my mummy, it was not bad :D Hehhh~

Prosciutto e Funghi

Pizza with tomato, mozzarella cheese, ham and mushrooms

Super love this pizza! It's amazing :) I mean who doesn't love ham and mushrooms? ♥ The crust of the pizza is just right too, not too squishy but not too hard either :) Must eat if you go to Al Forno for dinner :) Heheh. ^ ^~

Panzarotti Classici (V)

Oven baked stuff pasta with ricotta cheese and mushrooms in tomato sauce

...The pasta looks like wanton 8D /shot HAHAHA I'M SERIOUS OKAY. It's so cute ♥ Unfortunately a girl like me doesn't know how to appreciate it :( The stuffing has a truffle taste, which I personally cannot handle...but that's why the tomato sauce is there in abundance! :) To block off the truffle taste :3 My brother added a few drops of Tobasco on my pasta as well...so it was kinda spicy. But it helped block off the taste too so :D . Try not to get this if you're like me though~

Limone Gelato

On to the desserts! Obviously...I had LEMON ICE CREAM!! ♥♥ raburabu >w< It was incredibly sweet. :D ♥ Don't get me wrong though, it does indeed taste like the real lemon itself :) My taste buds are just kinda screwed up so lemon to me is sweet. Everyone else in my family says it's super sour though :( Sighh.

Also, my brother tricked me into eating the lemon skin as well. He's so mean D: Kept on going on about how it could be eaten too..he even bit off a small bit to convince me! And yes, I ate a bit...it's bitter!! Haha. My bro sucks for doing that. So I gave my other bro some lemon zest to ease my pain. He bit on it then spat it out xP Hehe.

I guess, that's all for the food. Thanks for reading all my rambles guys hehe. I'm surprised if you actually read this far :O Anyway, just a few more pictures before I end this post :)
